An Update Regarding COVID-19

As the nation continues to watch the coronavirus pandemic unfold, many of us are adjusting to a new normal. However, during these uncertain times, traumatic injuries still occur and swift treatment is not only necessary, it is essential. Our patients shouldn’t have to worry about getting these expeditious treatments and they shouldn’t fear places like local emergency rooms that provide immediate care. Yet, we understand their concern.

The Foot & Ankle Surgeons of Oklahoma is here for you. If you think you may need to visit an emergency room, please call our office at (405) 418-4500. We have all of the in-office capabilities that would be administered in an emergency room setting for your foot, ankle and orthopedic-related injuries.

We believe it’s in our best interest as a community to allow the staff at our local ER facilities to focus on patients who present coronavirus symptoms or are in need of other emergency care, as well as minimize the utilization of critical resources.

Non-traumatic patients are also welcome at our facilities at any time. We understand that ongoing pain in your joints, hands and feet can be added stress during this difficult situation. We have many conservative treatments available that can help provide immediate relief.

We are all in this together and we will get through it together. All of us at Foot & Ankle Surgeons of Oklahoma stand ready to help however we can.
